Online Training

Thru the Simply For Life nutrition clinic in Calgary, my husband and I were introduced to Nathan and Sabrina with BeneEsse Fitness. Along with eating well, staying fit was our missing link. We would go for walks, but that wasn’t enough, especially thru the winter months. We could not afford a gym membership and really did not want to be a part of the gym scene. BeneEsse offered an online workout program you could do comfortably from your own home. We have no equipment, just ourselves and a skipping rope. After meeting with Sabrina and letting her know what we were looking for in terms of staying fit, our online program was created. We had a four day a week, 30 minutes at most workouts that you have to check in and track your results. We stayed in touch with Sabrina on a regular basis via email or phone calls.
Burpees, sit ups, lunges, skipping, squats, some of our favourites. Not so favorite…planks, and push-ups.
We started a six month BeneEsse program on December 1st, 2014. It has been just over a year since we started our healthy journey. I believe having a partner helped motivate me in this program as well as enthusiastic trainers; Sabrina and Nathan. My husband and I will be 50 this year and we feel wonderful. I am maintaining my 10 lb. weight loss and have lost four inches around my waist. I have had to buy new clothes, as I dropped 3 dress sizes. My husband has also kept his weight down and has felt much more energy than before. We will continue to stay active, eat well and hope to live another 50 years.
The program is not complicated, we do not run marathons, we just wanted to get off the couch and have the energy to continue to grow with our children and hopefully their children in the future.
